September 4, 2010 - dAy thiRtY-thREE

saturday was a great day. got up early and went for a run. it was really really cold up there. went out running in shorts and a tank. had i not been running i would have frozen my butt off. came back, showered and found this...

holy cuteness batman. i watched as Sara cut the kids nails. funny that you don't think about things like this if you don't have kids. i don't remember my mom cutting my nails, but then i don't remember cutting them myself either. someone must have cut them right?

and then the food...

yum. i love eggs. the incredible edible. stuffed my face and completely nullified my run and then had a makeover with the girls. they are at the age now where makeup is fun...wait...i'm still at that age...

Bird fished for a while. who am i kidding? he fished all day.

he went out and bought a bucket of live bait but one of them died. the girls buried it on the beach and had a little funeral for the 'poor little fish'.

you can't see it very well, but it says "Fish" and then underneath, "RIP". note, it does not say RIP Fish.

more flowers for the fish...

hell of a burial for a 2 inch minnow. they pretended to cry for while. it was quite a show actually. children can be the most dramatic beings. lol.

everyone put on white tees and jeans and we had a photoshoot since we were all beautified.

then i set a timer and jumped in with them. aren't we cute...

wait for it...wait for it...

maybe my favorite pic of all time. love them.

human quadruple layer sandwich...lol good times

my four favorites.

and our view...

i can't even believe how beautiful this place is sometimes. i love it so much up there. the rest of the day was pretty laxidaisy.

Nathaniel and i drove to Williamsport after pics to go the music store for some guitar picks and classical guitar strings, but it was closed. so we drove on to the smoke shop, but it too was closed. bummer. but we did find another smoke shop called "Puffs". very original. i got some cherry flavored swisher sweets to keep the bugs at bay at our little fire later, and Nathaniel got a cigar (can't remember what it was called, only that it was $6 or $7 or something ridiculous like that), and some cloves for Sara.

we ended the night with a campfire and a game of pictionary.

great day.
