friday chiday!!! sweet god thank you. i've waited all week for this day! today starts our first weekly friday hh (Happy Hour) with friends. we've decided that going out for hh is WAY too expensive anymore and in order to save money we are now having friday night hh fires. turns out...it's a lot of fun. however, it sort of just ends up a hn (Happy Night)! good friends, good times, good food, good drink. who could ask for more??

November 11, 2010 - dAy 101

i've decided that i don't feel like typing out the numbers as they're spelled anymore. going numerical here people. hold on.

thursday. thursday is always a good day. just means we're that much closer to friday. which is chiday. which i love. but of course you already know all this.

oh...and Kimusabi cooked a new recipe. yum. brown butter cheese tortelini with ham, spinach and peppers. great...now i'm hungry again. figures.

November 10, 2010 - dAy ONE HUNDRED!!!

wednesday. 100 days of blogging. today is a day to celebrate. not like monday at all.

...and then as i was driving home...i remembered why i don't like this time of year. driving home from work in the dark sucks. big time. and it's only getting darker.

November 9, 2010 - dAy niNETy-niNE

tuesday. open mic. Bird and i decided that we would rub two pennies together and go have a couple of beers for open mic. i sang a couple songs but we were mostly entertained by Rachel! love her...

i told her she needed a name for her stuffed animal. she tried to name it Rachel. and then decided that it couldn't have the same name as her!

so instead she named her Ariel!

monday. man. i think i'm going to try to say how much i hate monday's a different way every week.

so let's start over.

monday. if you were on fire and the only way to put you out was to piss on you...i would piss down my own leg. there. how was that? good? good.

i have a lot of monday's that include vodka. i think vodka was made specifically for dealing with mondays.

Kimusabi decorated her room for the holidays already. yes...i know...it's not even thanksgiving yet. that's what i said. but she's SO happy about it that you can't help but be happy with her! this is how the lights look in her room when i use my aquarium setting. strange right?

sunday was a much better day. took the dogs over to mom and dad's to run for a while. Harry Potter is a piece of work...and i think he might chase a ball until he dies...

saturday. i was a little hungover. just a little. no wait. a lot. i didn't get off the couch pretty much all day...

so hungover...that i didn't get off the couch to take these pics til it was this dark out!

but they're really cool so i've forgiven myself.

friday. chiday. Bird got a Buck!!!!! BBD!!!! ...oh...and my headlight burnt out. awesome. anyone ever try to change a light in a vw? no? good times really. you should try it. went to the auto place after work and bought a lightbulb, determined to change it myself. got home, opened the hood, and .......

WTF???

biggest freakin' dead bug i've EVER seen!!! dead of course. nothin' messes with the front of my vw and walks away...

Bird got home and Dan came over!

wednesday. it's funny really. we are surrounded by neighbors on just about every side of our house. but if i take the picture just right...it looks like we live on a farm...love that.

tuesday.
went to work.
worked.
came home.
noticed it is getting dark earlier.
so i took a pic of this tree.

and proceeded to go inside to look for bugs. they're everywhere. it doesn't take long.

hung out with the bug and the dogs for a while.

gave kisses and went to bed.

October 31, 2010 - dAy nInETy

90 days. 90 days of picture taking. i really am enjoying this. really i forgot how much i already knew i enjoyed it. taking pictures that is. HALLOWEEN. the actual day of halloween (unless on a friday or saturday) is usually just as lame as any other day of the year. this one didn't prove to be much different. we did have a trick-or-treater though!!! at mom and dad's that is...

LADY GAGA!!!! and her costume was one of the best!!! ...though i am a bit partial ;)

October 30, 2010 - dAy eiGHTy-nINe

saturday was Nicola Ricola's party. but before that Kimusabi and i took a walk. i love this time of year. i think fall is the most fun season to photograph.

they say a picture is worth a thousand words. i think this one just says 'stop'. and i think that says it all.

i want this horse.

so this is my second costume. i couldn't breath very well in the wench costume. i'm not sure how those women back in the day used to cinch themselves up every day. craziness i tell you. and i wasn't in the mood to sacrifice breathing again so instead i was a dead bride.
