October 23, 2010 - dAy eIGhTy-tWo

saturday was a fun day. woke up and spent most of the morning eating breakfast and recovering from the shananigans the night before.

after lunch sometime, we decided to bring a water logged log up from the beach. i thought it would make a great bench since it was smoothed by the water...but it proved to be a real pain in the ass...

now what you wanna do is...take the knees completely out of the equation and lift solely with your back in a sharp twisting jerking motion...

finally in the truck! stupid me though, of course took all of these pictures leading up to getting the log in the truck, and never took a picture of where we put it. not so smart sometimes. oh well.

we drank the day away. actually they did. Kim and i drank iced tea and water due to the insane consumption of alcohol the night before. the boys played quoits and later we played beer pong and Jay and i took tons of crazy pics of the lights. Later, Kim and i indulged in cherry bombs. yum. i may have eaten one too many of these...

October 22, 2010 - dAy eIGhTy-oNe

friday. oh boy it was chiday...i love chiday. ate chinese for lunch AND dinner on the way to the mountains with Kim! LOL. so good, but i'm  not sure i need chinese for a while. i think i got my fix. friday night was a blast. Kim, Bird, Jay, Don, Steve, Ben, Kaley, and Joepetie all enjoyed the coziness of a fire in the fire place and the first night below 40 degrees! it was a blast. we all drank way too much.

thursday. went to mom and dad's after work and had a couple beers. i think maybe we have a problem...nah. went home and did some laundry, ate dinner and watched the Phils. Thank you for that win!!!! bring it back to Philly!!!

oh good ole wednesday. hump day as they call it. went home and hung out with Kimusabi for a while. Bird was hunting so i waited for him to get done and we went up to Manda Panda's and Craig's for dinner. yum. then we came home and Brent and Christine came over to watch some of the Phils with us. we drank a few beers and went to bed...stupid Phils...sigh

October 19, 2010 - dAy sEvEnTy-eiGhT

tuesdays are always better. my boss let me out of work early!!!! for the Phils!!!!! went down to ruffini's for open mic with Kimusabi. sang some with Nicola Ricola and Tommy and Kyle. had a couple beers and hung out with Colleen for a while. love that girl!! went back to our house after with Kimusabi, and spent the rest of the night trying to laugh quietly since Bird was in bed...lol...why is it always funnier when you shouldn't be laughing???

sunday funday. woke up early considering i felt like hammered shit for a while. Kim came over and we had cheese steaks for lunch. turns out we have perfected the art of venison cheese steaks. takes a lot of meat but they're SO good that we had them for dinner again when mom and dad got home from Uncle Charlie and Aunt Sal's. lol

saturday. it was nice to sleep in... woke up and cleaned house. didn't do too much after.  drank some beers and headed over to mom and dad's to eat pizza and watch the Phils on the projector with friends. Brent, Christine, Don, Steve, Erin, Mary, Ben, Colleen, Brandon, Bird, Kim and i. we had a ton of fun...sorry if i missed anyone.

later we all climbed in the back of Don's truck and rode up the street to Nicola Ricola's house. she had the game on the shed outside with Joe's projector and a fire! We love BIG screens!!!

sang some songs, drank some beer, and toasted our buns by the fire.

friday. because i drank too much the night before at the stupid beaver, i could NOT wait to get home and chill on my couch. Bird was hunting. Kim came over and we watched a movie. Bird went to play quoits with Charlie and Denny Mike and so Kim and i ate popcorn and hershey kisses and snuggled with the dogs on the new couch and watched somethin...and now i can't remember what we watched...oh wait...it was Van somethin'...shit...Van Helsing? is that right? don't know. it was a little scary actually. and i do not do scary movies. but i don't remember having nightmares...

thursday. went to mom and dad's after work.

later mom and dad took us out to the beaver for trivia night with Tommy. fun night. probably drank a little too much. but it was fun. we needed a night out. i've found that i really like trivia, but i suck. i'm not one of those people that have all sorts of useless knowledge tucked away in my head. but i do enjoy it. and every once in a while...i get one right. and somehow, even if i've gotten the last 8 questions wrong, that one right always makes me feel better. lol

we had a blast! i love my nicola ricola. my silliest friend.

October 13, 2010 - dAy seVenTy-tWo

wednesday was a good day. went to mom and dad's to write with Kim. we were not very successful. bummer. we had venison steak sandwiches for dinner though! yum. since then we have perfected this sandwich! but the writing...we'll call it writers block. maybe we should take a workshop. writing workshop. yeah. cause i have time and money for that. funny. someday

anywho...came home and realized that i had not taken a picture. i was kind of freaking. there's not much in my house that i haven't already taken a pic of. so...i went outside. if was dark. and then i realized i used to love taking pictures of the moon with my SLR...if only i could slow the shutter speed down on this digital p.o.s.   OMG! I CAN!! THIS...was so much fun...
