August 26, 2010 - dAy tWeNtY-foUR

thursdays. quoit night, usually. we were going to stay home, but we decided to go to my parents for quoits and dinner. we had spaghetti...i cannot figure out how i have such a love for something so easy to prepare... anywho, dinner was great. Bird and Dad only made their way through one game before dinner. after dinner Nathaniel came down followed shortly by Sara, Frederick, Lydia, Anna-banana, & Boogaloo Boogs (Alice). they brought cookies and this always makes me happy =+) we were soon joined by Aunt Linda and Uncle Tom and the night turned into a little family party short a couple hundred people that is.

Uncle Tom told some of his unforgettable jokes while mom and Aunt LInda looked through the wedding pics. (btw...i love all of the pics and am having trouble deciding which ones to order...gonna need my girls i think, cause i don't think Bird cares). never played more quoits. somehow it just wasn't one of those nights. friday we will play again at Charlie and Jen's. we have an obsession it seems, and i'm not sure it's a healthy one, but we're having fun anyway! played with the kids for a while and ate way to many cookies. it appears i've gone from making a beer baby to making a cookie baby... oh well. you only live once right?

mom's butterfly bush. i love this thing...and there's always butterflies on it!

tomatoe love. cannot wait to be sick of tomatoes!...wait...i don't think that's possible...

oh Harold

good 'ole Boogaloo Boogs (Alice)

seriously...she asked me to take this pic! lol...and poses just so and waits...and then..."LET ME SEE IT, LET ME SEE IT"...then..."oh"...and then..."NOW TAKE IT LIKE THIS CC, TAKE ONE LIKE THIS!...CC!...CC!...CC!...TAKE ONE LIKE THIS CC!!!"...i love her

hahahahahahaha...omg

funny how this pic turned out. Nathaniel lifted Alice above his head and i tried to snap the silhouette from the spotlight and this is what i got...kinda looks like he's trying to grab an angel...hmmm

our night ended with Alice learning to climb up Nathaniel and flip herself over. jellies, apparently, are very slippery shoes though and she needed a little help from Frederick. what a great day.
