sUndAy fUndAy - dAy twEntY

wow...twenty days of blogging...it seems like a long time to me. this morning i thought about what it's gonna feel like when i hit 3-digit numbers. heh...i'll probably be sick of it...nah...probably not. great...now i'm indecisive in my blog.

didn't wake up 'til about 12pm due to the late hours of the night before. had so much fun. just kept replaying the night over and over again. Bird went to work and i went to hang out with Kim. took the dogs with me and we all laid on the couch downstairs and watched Boondock Saints. LOVED it! "we're just like 7-eleven. we're not always in business, but we're always open". stayed for dinner and then went to the farm to go fishing.

love to watch Bird fish...

then it got dark. we stood around and listened to Nathaniel tell chicken and rooster stories for a while. they have 6 'chickens'...turns out 3 of them were roosters. the biggest thinks he's hot stuff...we just make fun of him. and it's a lot of fun believe you me...but then, Nathaniel does tell some pretty funny stories.

saturdays are strange days. woke up relatively early and went for a run. came home and decided to clean. Bird helped. went to the neighbors to get hot water to mop the floor. that was kind of a pain. i'm over it. went to mom and dad's to take showers and then headed out to phoenixville to hang with Steve, Lauren, Niki, and Tim. had dinner-most delicious mac 'n' cheese EVER! Lauren is my new favorite cook! ...and then she brought out dessert. i totally peed a little it was SO good. pots du creme. i need this recipe. it was to die for. i never took pictures of dinner, though i should have. now it's in my belly. too late... We walked in to town and went to molly maguires and had a blast. Bird talked the band into letting me go up and sing one. bobby magee never lets me down. it was so much fun. sorta got lost on the way home, but made it safely anyway at about 3:30am!! holy super tired batman! but it was well worth it!

the grapes that are now in my belly...yum

friday...thank god for fridays. i wish everyday felt as good as friday. i've been really behind on my blogs. my goal is to catch up today on the last 5 days and then be on top and ahead of the game. we shall see...after all...i am a master procrastinator.

came home from work and went to dinner at the beaver creek tavern. wasn't impressed. we don't go there for the food...we go there for the booz...and the open mic on tuesdays of course. we left there and went to ruffini's to hang out with Don and Vern. had a couple beers, went home, probably stayed at mom and dad's but i can't remember...too long ago. this is what happens when you don't keep up with your blog... =(

i was lazy friday i do remember that. the only pics i got were the ones i took of myself on the way to ruffini's. not sure how i feel about these pics...

this one kinda creeps me out. it's the reflection in the sideview obviously, but i feel like it looks like i'm in the driver's seat driving, and yet both hands are on the camera...

chursdays are my favorite!!!!! it's my way of saying it's chinese for lunch. it was also thirsty thursday at my parents. woke up there AGAIN. went to work AGAIN. stopped at Beth's to help her cut her kitties nails...one of these times i will take my camera and get their portraits...pretty pretty cats! went to mom's for dinner and to visit with Pam who was in from oHIo. she's a fun lady. really like her! watched Bird, Johnny, Dad, & Craig play quoits and went to bed relatively early. not very eventful, but fun just the same.  i think our dogs are enjoying the freedom one experiences while at my parents...

i have a new found obsession with photographing beer...not sure why...

mama's dog Harry Plopper...plays as hard as he possibly can and then throws himself in the baby pool...strange little bug, that Harold.

i love wednesdays. not sure why. woke up late and went to mom and dad's to take a shower since we still don't have water. took a shower and went to work schmirk. that part kinda sucked i guess. "Life sucks...you're either working, or stuck at home watching daytime tv"- Uncle Tom. love my family! did not feel so well from the night before...waaaaay to much alcohol...

i make it big. then you can see how big my love for cherries is! so hungover today i was a waste of life...only took one pic...spent the night at mom and dad's. much easier then waking up and trying to find water to give to the dogs and to flush the toilet...notice the order of my priorities...my house stinks. i need water to clean it...sigh

tuesday...i like tuesdays. mostly because it means it's not monday anymore. every other tuesday is open mic with my cousin Tommy at the beaver creek tavern. fun times even though i drank way too much. had a lot of new people show up this week. i only sang two since nicole was sick... =(

Dan, Kyle's friend and fellow band member. he played a plethora of instruments. but my fave is the harmonica. plus i really like his reflection in the table...

mama and Eric, Eric and mama

my kimusabi...

apple doesn't fall far...

Tommy played a couple new ones. love to watch him play.

it took so long to load the first video...that i gave up...i think i'll post them later...

mAniC mOndAy - dAy fOURteeN

oh monday...how i hate thee...let me count the ways...1. still don't have water 2. have to go back to work 3. do i really need to give three reasons??? i think numero uno is enough in and of itself. this IS the 21st century right? we're on day 5 of no water. landlord is supposedly doing the 'best' that he can. won't let us call a trustworthy plumber. we HAVE to use his guy. 'his guy'...the one that didn't even show up yesterday...right...that one...yay (again, insert sarcastic font here)

walked over to the neighbors to fill buckets so we could at least flush the toilet and then it started to storm. tried to get a pic of the rainbow after the storm but you can just barely make it out.

after the storm.

I REALLY NEED A NEW CAMERA! this little dark spot in the middle of the field is a fox. he darted out of the woods in our backyard and across the field into the corn. he looked really wet and really scared...though you can't tell from this pic.

the storm looked even creepier as it moved away then it did before it came. loved the clouds. all in all, besides the fact that we still don't have water, it wasn't that bad of a day. hung out with Kim, Dan, and our neighbor, Bob, for a while. Watched some NCIS until the electricity went out from the next storm that came thru and went to bed. Hope Tuesday is better...

woke up not as early as saturday. did not run. the alcohol consumption from the day before prohibited this. spent most of the morning trying to figure out where we were going to go for brunch and whether or not we were going by boat or by car. turns out we went by car to the clarion. brunch was not their forte by any means, but it was better then nothing.

breakfast of champions for the second day. orange juice instead of water this time, coffee, bloody mary. the bloody mary was really spicy, and not great, but it was only $2.50 so i couldn't really complain. buffet was cold...but my omelet was delish. but i ate it before i could take a pic of it.

so instead you get a picture of what was left of my home fries and my cream chipped beef...

Lennie B Lennie hides from the camera...we don't know why.

came back from brunch stuffed. decided to walk the beach. it wasn't sunny enough to lay out and we'd had enough sun from the day before. came back from the beach and decided to journey home. it took us an hour to get from OCMD to Rehobeth. next time i will take monday off and stay another day. sunday funday turned into 'sit in traffic til i want to set someone on fire and put them out with a pitchfork" day. finally got home at 9pm only to find out we still don't have water...yay (insert sarcastic font here).

cLammiN' - dAy tWeLVe

breakfast of champions. water, coffee, bloody mary.

we woke up relatively early for a saturday and went running. about a mile and a half i'd guess, though i didn't clock it. went back and enjoyed bloody mary's, water, and coffee. eventually made eggs & sausage and got ourselves ready for the boat. there was a small boat advisory so we had to stay in the bay. i was glad for this since i have a history of seasickness. no good.

got on the boat, which i was afraid of first and started out...

stopped for fuel, and then at seacrets...i should have taken a pic of this really but instead i will do my best at describing it to you. imagine the bay at seacrets...now imagine not being able to see the water because of the seriously massive amounts of intoxicated people in the water...now imagine being in that water, drinking and having to pee. do you get OUT of the water to go the restroom? i wonder... i was glad for the taxi boat. for a moment i thought we were going to have to walk into the pee and cigarette infested water...gross.

took the boat in, had some really really really good jerk chicken and bruscetta while we people watched and stared in disbelief at what some girls will do to themselves, and then got back on the boat and headed for the chowder beds.

my two favorites...smellin' LN and Johanna Banana.

heh...floating heads.

you can't see it very well...but Dan is holding three 'chowder' clams in one hand...at most i can hold two. had so much fun with the three of them. my feet hurt a little from digging in the sand for clams, but it was well worth it. pretended to fly on our way back. probably almost got tossed from the boat a few times, though i'm sure i would have felt nothing. alcohol is amazing in it's numbing abilities.

ordered enough food to feed a small militia and nearly slept thru the delivery guy. watched a movie. LN and Dan watched it with their eyes closed. they have talent. decided not to go out that night. the alcohol consumption during the day was a little absurd...wait...that's not possible.

bEAcH bOUnd - dAy eLeVeN

left for the beach around 5-5:30. traffic wasn't really that bad. made a couple of stops at the market and the liquor store. two essential stops mind you. grabbed some fresh tomatoes and nuts at Hershey's Farm market and some sweet tea RASPBERRY vodka at the wine & spirits across the street...yum...and headed out. vodka and tomatoes don't really go well together, but it's what i wanted.

got to LN and Dan's around 8:30pm. we beat them there. HA. though i was sort of driving like a maniac. we got there in one piece. that's all that matters right? the drinking started and lasted all weekend, though this is what caught my eye when we first walked in the door. i have a new found love for Red Stripe Light...yeah...i know...weird.

Lennie B Lennie and Smellin' LN. two of my favorites.

angry little Montgomery Burns.

we drank some, tried to play a game which called for absolutely no inhibitions, can't remember what it was called, and went to bed. great start to a fantastic weekend!!

dOg dAyS - dAy tEn

slowest day of my life so far! i leave for the beach tomorrow and the clock was not on my side today... Got up early and went running. it wasn't too bad this morning. last couple mornings i didn't even bother it was so thick outside. went to work schmirk. what a drag that place is sometimes. for the most part i like the people i work with, but what i do is soooooo mundane and repetitive...get it...? i think a well trained monkey could do my job. came home, ate pizza, packed up the laundry while Bird tried to hunt down the groundhog, and headed to mom and dad's to do a load of laundry. took some pics while i was there. sat with Kim for a while. came home to find Bird and Don fixing the water/pump/leak problem and watched kaley chase flies for a while...seriously though try to envision this...82 lbs of clumsiness leaping around our small little place for A FLY... she catches 'em sometimes too! Gonna go pack for the beach and hit the sack.

ladies and gentlemen i have finally found photobucket and i'm in love. joepetie is in love with kaley. she is his girlfriend and he is her boyfriend. they make out every night. it's kinda gross actually.

dirty dog prints

my feet do strange things. i thought they looked funny.

hUmP dAy - dAy nInE

typically i like wednesdays. i was bored at work today. sent out a resume to try to find something that pays a little more while i go back to school...we'll see.

came home from work and finished stuffing thank you's. Bird cooked dinner...again!!! no seriously! chicken and corn on the cobb and fresh sliced tomatoes. in all fairness, i did the corn and the tomatoes. not that it took much. aunt fran dropped off our joe corbi's pizza- yum. that may just be dinner tomorrow night. quoit night always proves to be an interesting dinner night since we have to be at quoits by 6:30. hopefully i'll sleep better tonight. i haven't been sleeping well lately. seems i'm waking up really hot and then can't fall back asleep...

we still have no water pressure. took a shower this morning and got all lathered up with soap only to lose water again. had to stand in the shower shivering waiting for the pump to come back on. ugh. no good. not a great start to my day. meanwhile, there's not enough pressure to do the dishes and we are running out...

played my guitar for a while outside and watched the geese fly by...it's  not that time of year yet is it? maybe they just do practice runs...you know...make sure they fly in proper formation and all.

s.H.i.t. sO hAppy iT's tUesdAy - dAy eiGht

work was work. there's nothin' much to say about that. though i did get most of my thank you's written! the b man was out, so i procrastinated work today instead of my thank you's. came home and Bird and i went to Hershey's Farm market. i spent $76 and got sooooo much stuff. i love the market. really i love the markets out here in the country. i went to the one in frazer by work last week and spent a small fortune on 1 tomatoe, a green pepper, and some homemade pickles-which turned out to be not as tasty as i would have thought.

stopped at mom's on the way home and got my camera charger. good thing too, cause there would have been no picture taking today had i not. i really need to get some sort of photo program too. my camera now leaves much to be desired.

Bird cooked! no really, he did! he made lobster tail and steaks on the grill! SO good! i made a salad to go along with home grown lettuce and tomatoes. i love cutting in to a fresh tomatoe and watching the blood red juices flow. not one of my better descriptions i guess but there isn't much out there besides blood that resembles the redness of a really good tomatoe.

watered my flowers-so as to help the weeds grow back-only to lose all water. yup, all of it. i thought there was a kink in the hose and checked it thoroughly. i went inside and turned on the spicket only to find no water there either. Bird was checkin' out his new spear gun (for the ginormous fish in the mountains) and was unpleasantly interruped by my qualms with the lack in water. fortunately the landlord's mr. fixit Rich showed up about an hour later. he'll be back in the morning to fix it. apparently there'a a leak and there's air getting in the pump causing us to lose all pressure. the water pressure came back, but we can't use a lot for long periods of time...ie me watering the weeds. came in, watch the phillies. we're in present time now so i can only assume i'll drink another beer and go to bed...or maybe i'll address those thank you's so i can mail them out tomorrow....hmmmmmm

yeah you know how we do.

i am carnivorous.

yum

the salad didn't fit in the picture nicely. plus i covered it in dressing before i thought of taking a pic and it just wasn't as aesthetically pleasing then.

believe it or not i ate the lobster, half my salad but only half my steak...yes...this is the half that's left! holy biggest steak ever batman. at least i can put it in a salad tomorrow for lunch.

i've killed this plant twice already. i wander if plants have nine lives kinda like cats do.

can anyone

please tell me

if this is a plant or a weed that i've grown in a pot accidentally?
