saturday is a great day for a pool party. and that's what we did. had a blast with friends. drank, swam, had a fire, roasted marshmellows and then slept like newborn babies. LOL. good times all aroud. i heart my friends...

we were missing a couple bubs...but we had a great time! Thanks Beth!!!!

October 8, 2010 - sIXtY-sEvEN

fridays are the best days ever. i mean really. who doesn't love fridays? unless you work on saturdays that is. then i guess i would hate fridays. but i do not. and so i love them. friday, i had synthetic injections in both of my knees at lunch time. nice time really. nothing like spending your lunch hour with two needles in your knees... it didn't hurt really. there's just something about have a ginormous needle stickin out of my leg that kinda gets to me. nbd.

anywho, went to Beth's after work to hang out with Kim, Nicole, and Mom. We drank a LOT of wine...yes...a lot. surprise surprise. we swam and had a blast. slept over and so did Nicole...and i saw no ghosts. i don't believe there are any...

wednesday. PHILS!!! holy crap what a game. no HITTER!!! Halladay ♫♪♩♫♫♪♪♩(insert singsongy voice in Madonna's 'Holiday' tune) came home from work and watched the first three innings with Bird and then went over to Beth's again to visit with Kim and watch the game with her, Joh and Craig. drank some beers, cheered on our Phils, ate some baked ziti and then went for a swim. water was awesome. and they have a spring diving board which is fantastic!! front flips and back flips galour. i had no qualms with getting wet today. oh...and craig can jump off and touch the ceiling. very funny!

so my fascination with bugs has often lead me to spiders. i know spiders are not bugs. i know i know, but this spider...was giNormous!!!!! check him out! he's really cool lookin'.

very very creepy spider. when he took off it was even creepier!!-is that a word? well...if it's not, it is now. wish i coulda got that on video. heebee jeebees heebee jeebees. kinda makes my toes want to curl under in my shoes...

tuesday. probably should have went to open mic. but i did not. no mulla. Bird and Dan went hunting in the late afternoon and Dan shot a deer. i was going to take pics of the deer but i thought they may be offensive to some reading my blog. so instead i took a pic of one of the stink bugs that are taking over our apartment.

i got to help butcher my first deer though. it was really interesting actually once i got over the fact that it definitely looked like Bambi's mom. actually i'm sure it was. but i'm over it really. as soon as i realized we get to eat all of it i was happy. i love venison. so good for you too which is a plus. think i'm going to go online and learn how to tan hides. i would like that i think.

but seriously though. what the hell is with these things? Kaley is always trying to eat them and then they let off that terrible wretched smell that reminds me of cilantro, which i hate, and the house smells for hours. and you can't kill them. i try to grab them and throw them outside. inevitably they come back in, i know, but i at least try. fugly little buggers. and i LIKE bugs. but not these bugs...

October 4, 2010 - dAy siXtY-thREE

monday scumday. bummer. it's starting to seem like my weekends are not as long as they used to be. i don't like this. not one bit. didn't do much. made chicken stir fry for dinner. yum. i love that meal. SO good. and we hadn't had it in a while. also made little blueberry muffins. cutest little things ever!

it was a small little box, but it made almost 3 dozen muffins. yikes...looks like i'm gonna be eating muffins for a while...

October 3, 2010 - dAy siXtY-tWo

sunday funday. got up relatively early. took a shower and then went to the Victory Fall Fest to see Niki and Tim and their G-Wings. there was a long wait for the wings and so we didn't get to try any. next time. ended up at Victory since the beer garden had a 45 minute wait to get in and then a 20 minute wait for a beer. when we got to victory though, it was a 20 minute wait for a beer there as well. had a whirlwind since they were out of sunrise. it's been a while since they've had my favorite beer actually. saw Pis and Lee, Leener and Bran, Joh and Craig, and Nicole and Brady Johnny. Good time had by all. left and went home to feed the dogs and then go over to Beth's (Kim is house sitting) and watched the game. Bird, Kim, Nicole and Johnny went swimming. i did not. i like to swim. for some reason i didn't want to be wet. it was cold and rainy outside and the idea of getting wet was not enticing to me at all even though the pool water was 85 degrees...

i have a serious facsination with bugs of any kind. of all the things i did this day...the only thing i took a pic of was this freaking catterpillar...

sat. i can't write much about this day. i was hammered shit. yes, i said hammered shit. when i finally got myself out of bed, i stripped it and did laundry thinking that maybe the smell of clean sheets and towels would make me feel better. this did not work. instead i was just miserable and then even more miserable when i realized i had to fold them all. finally took a shower and went to Kohl's because i had a $20 gift card/coupon thingy. bought a ring-score. then spent the rest of the night watching NCIS...

October 1, 2010 - dAy siXtY

holy crap it's October already!!! i heart october. it's my favorite time of the year. AAannnd...the phils are in the playoffs. i love them too. i LOVE fall baseball. it's bonfire season and i can't wait. except for the fact that it will not stop pissing. rain rain go away ♫♪♩♫♫♪♩(insert singsongy voice here)

so it's friday. but it was not chiday at work today. i decided against chinese for once. everyone else ate mexican. i think i had spaghetti leftover from Bird's fabulous cooking skills! yum. on my way home did a drive by of my old house. sad really that it's just gone to waste. went to Mom and Dad's and had a beer and then we all, including Kim, went down to Ruffini's for HH. Bird met us there and so did Don. we hung out for a while. Bird was supposed to get up and hunt the next day. i drank so much that i hugged the porcelain god all night and then passed out. no good. sometimes...you just have to do dumb...

thursday. not a very exciting day. had dinner, but i can't remember what we ate. then i played my guitar for a while and watched some NCIS. all in all a well deserved relaxing night.

i love my little guitar. she's so cute. and she needs a name i think. i know. i'm crazy. and i'm off to bed.

September 29, 2010 - dAy fifTy EiGhT

wednesday again. geez these days are getting repetitive...went to work again. why do we have to do that day in and day out? money should just grow on trees. oh well, it does not. and so my sister and i have decided to make our millions by writing a book. contrary to popular belief...this is not easy...by any means. but i think we're having fun... so this wednesday was the start of our first writing session. it felt good to write. even though we didn't get a great deal accomplished, i at least felt that i was getting back into my creative thinking. it's funny really. it's just like anything else. if you don't use it, you lose it. not that i think i've lost it...just that i'm a little rusty. i need to sit every night and write for 10 minutes, play my guitar for 30, and then write for another 10. maybe this will help. that and i need some good books. something to get the creativity running wild in my head again. i think a good hike is in the near future...that always helps.

oh...that...and i'm now addicted to pretzels thanks to Johanna banana...

tuesday. open mic at the beaver this week. good time really! saw lots of family and sang a bunch of songs. even Colleen and Brandon came out! it was Colleen's 6th anniversary of her 29th birthday, so of course we sang to her! some beers and a couple shots later, and i was drunk again. great...came home and Bird and Dan were there. Dan got a deer and they were butchering. it's nice to have our own meat and not have to buy it.

monday...here we are again...i'm going to change the name of this day. i'm gonna call it scumday from now on. cause that's what it is. a scum day. went to work schmirk, and then came home and Bird and i went to the grocery store. we needed them. after, i went to mom and dad's to watch the Simpson's Movie with Mom and Kimusabi. LOVE that movie! that will be my 12th viewing. and it only keeps getting funnier...and of course...no movie is any sort of good without popcorn...yum

i used to work in the Lionville post office...and the Regal cinemas was next store and all day long the smell of popcorn would waft its way through the ventilation system into our store...i hated Regal for this. always craving popcorn and not knowing why...

saturday. woke up and went to the bank with Bird. then stopped at his grandparents on the way home. came home and cleaned the house. Joe came over and went hunting with Bird. i got kidnapped by Brady Johnny and Nicola Ricola and we went to Victory to add 1 more beer to my 12 for the day. yikes. i was feeling little to no pain, and realize this is why drunk drivers are rarely the ones that get hurt in accidents. thankfully...Nicola Ricola was driving. brought home pizza for dinner. SO good...Nicola Ricola and Brady Johnny stayed for a while and then i passed out pretty early considering i was hammered. all in all...good day...

i love pizza...are there people out there who don't like pizza? those people don't deserve to eat if you ask me.

September 21, 2010 - dAy FiFtY

tuesday. woke up at mom and dad's early for some reason. it was nice to be able to get ready and then take the dogs out while i drank my coffee. went to work schmirk. long day. came home, fed the dogs and piled them in the car to take them to mom and dad's. Kim made grilled cheese sandwiches and we sat around waiting for Bird to come home from hunting. got his first doe of the season! yes...butchering season is here.

open mic at ruffini's. Kim and i went down. still couldn't sing. been sick for so long and coughing for so long that my vocal chords are not in the best of shape. need vocal rest i think. Nathaniel came out with Nicole though and they played a good amount. even Aunt Pat came down! LOL. kinda funny seeing Aunt Pat in a bar. had a few drinks with some good people. and some people had too many! LOL. not sure whether belligerently drunk people make me laugh or just annoy me. maybe it's a little of both. didn't stay too late this time. went back to mom and dad's. hung out more with Kim and then Bird came home and we crashed. tuesday was exhausting...

September 20, 2010 - dAy fouRTy-nInE

monday....ugh...work schmirk. came home after work and Bird and i decided to spend the week with Kim. Mom and Dad are in the Outer Banks for the week. i packed a bag and we took the dogs with us. had leftover Pulled Pork and Mac 'n' Cheese. this never gets old for me. love that stuff.

turns out 3 dogs in the kitchen is a lot of dog. they got along alright though considering.

after dinner watched the Phils!! what a great game! went to bed early. slept awesome in the king size bed! didn't even feel the dogs on the bed with us. great day.
